WATER PROJECT IN AKLAN. Acting Administrator Jeci A. Lapus (seated, center) of the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) leads the contract signing for a P61-million financial aid to Malay Water District (MWD) in Aklan Province. The amount is intended to improve the water district’s services with the development of new water sources, construction of a water treatment plant and laying of kilometers-long pipelines to upgrade water systems in 9 barangays.
